Utica University’s Fall 2025 Multimedia Web Design class focused on food insecurity as their in-depth, semester project, titled “Harvesting Hope, Utica.” The goal is to address the concerning rise of food insecurity on campus and in the surrounding Utica area. With the rising cost of living and food prices, the project sheds light on this growing issue. Stories, videos and podcasts investigate how different food pantries and agencies are making an impact in the community, how local grocery stores help and more.
